Ork painted as an Oni (Japanse Ogre)

I bought a box of Orks hardboys to convert into my blood bowl players. This was when 1st edition came out. Not liking the sameness of the ork blood bowl team. I took out three and converted them into my Oni.

I want to buy the new hardboys with the shields, they would make better lineman, and maybe brutes as my black orcs?

The whole conflict, oni (ork) on one side, stormcast on the other, and poor actual samurai in kimono on the other. I still have not bought the kimono samurai or painted the armored samurai I bought from Warlord games.

So many projects, so little time.

Oni (ork) with pole arm and axe. Like the Stormcast these sculpts are fun to put together and paint.

In my conflict the Orks show up on a shore of Japan. The local samurai are then dispatched to deal with them. Unknown to both sides is a third group, the Stormcast show up chasing the Orks.

Wanted to scrape of the face on the axe, but changed my mind. I may try to make Nobori (Banners) when the regional lords (Daimyo) align with the Orks aginist the Shogun.

The floor and back drop all came as part of the Age of Sigmar beginners set, which I bought at a discount from the local hobby store.

Better view of his face and arms. Great miniatures to paint.
