2nd Orruk-Lord of the Rings style.

Got the 2nd Orruk of 10? guys done. Slow going because I am also converting some blood claws to my Chapter assault guys. Then I went and ordered a 2nd box.

Thank goodness you guys understand this addiction.

If you been keeping track. The main reason I started this site was to get my 70, what GW calls first born, done. They were just space marines when I bought the lead.

However, the assault Intercessors, then the new terminators, then the newer assault terminators, all derailed me.

I know you know how it is.

I am also thinking I can not pass up the 11th addition launch box.

Anyway, I also want to get my fantasy miniatures done. I have a a lot of lead sculpts, Nick Lund, wolf riders that need love.

I stripped them from the original paint job, and they are ready to be primed. one of the reasons I got this Orruk. I wanted to test out a paint job that was not GW ork style and more Lord of the Rings style (realistic?)

I would do another box of these if they hand weapons.

I have said I am not a professional painter or even an award winning painter.

My focus Is to try and get you to paint a miniature a week. Do not worry about how it will come out.

You can always strip it. Check out my bases mag page on how I do my plastic and lead miniatures.

You can see where the terrain has come because of how the PVA glue dried. I liked it and left it. Also been thinking I might make it rougher.

Comparison shot of the two sculpts. Both are great, but the one on the right is a very GW Ork. Although he was painted as an orge for my oriental adventures.

The one of the left although GW is to me more Lord of the Rings ork.

If GW would upscale those Middle earth orks they have. I would buy, and paint them.

Thank you for taking the time, and checking my progress out.

Go make progress every day.
